CIA’s new signing
Observers say that Jakob Hinrichs was born with a pencil in his hand. He, modestly says that hard graft and enthusiasm were to blame, (his Crayola days now luckily over) Jakob discovered that not only his loving parents liked his drawings. When it came to decide what to do for a living, it was quite clear that his drawing talents were stronger than in his bass guitar skills! Instead he studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Arts Berlin and surfed at the Universidad del Pais Vasco in sunny Bilbao. After some years living in rainy La Coruna and freezing-cold Stockholm, he is happily back to his favourite sunny and rainy and freezing-cold Berlin. His work is energetic, textural and witty, his imagination and use of colour really stood out for us so we had to sign him up straight away!
